Expertise and Market Knowledge
With over 25 years of experience at actuarial consulting firms and insurers, it’s fair to say I know the profession and the market quite well. But for me, it’s just as important to truly understand my clients. I focus on their goals, of course, but also on building a pleasant, open relationship. Atmosphere matters to me—just as much as a focus on the numbers.

Connecting
From my vision and expertise, I enjoy challenging clients and providing facts and arguments to help them make informed decisions. The biggest challenge in my daily work is connecting different stakeholders—such as the employer, works council, insurer, and parent company—to arrive at better and more suitable pension solutions. In mutual harmony and with optimal support. To be meaningful in that process, I truly immerse myself in the client’s world.

Those around me know me as an extrovert, a quick thinker who makes decisions swiftly. At the same time, I remain at heart a modest, down-to-earth Zeeuw. I can adapt anywhere, but my heart still beats faster when I think of Zeeland. Both in and outside of work, I value attention for others—especially for those less fortunate than we are. That’s why I’m a member of the Rotary Club in Gorinchem, among other things.
