Triple A \u2013 Risk Finance is setting up an insurance and financial services consulting team based in Cologne, Germany. Andreas J. W\u00f6hr, previously with consulting firm Milliman and Allianz Lebensversicherungs AG, will be heading the new branch office.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The opening of the German office on April 1, 2024, marks the fourth opening of Triple A \u2013 Risk Finance in recent years. The move follows earlier expansions into Poland, Spain and Belgium in 2014, 2019 and 2020 respectively, further extending the firm\u2019s footprint in Europe.<\/p>\n

The consultancy firm specializes in risk management and actuarial science and was originally founded in 2006 in Amsterdam. Triple A \u2013 Risk Finance is one of the market leaders in the Netherlands, with over 200 consultants.<\/p>\n

Using its expertise on actuarial issues and risk management and its in-depth knowledge of international laws and regulations such as IFRS17 and Solvency II, Triple A \u2013 Risk Finance will provide insurance and financial consulting services to national and international life-insurers.<\/p>\n

Roel van Besouw, managing partner at Triple A \u2013 Risk Finance, explains the new venture: \u201cAs the German insurance market is large and undergoes significant changes, Triple A \u2013 Risk Finance Germany is seeking to take associated opportunities and expand its portfolio with market players in Germany. We are very happy to have Andreas on board. He has all the knowledge and experience needed to make this venture a successful one.\u201d<\/p>\n
